If there was a perfect horse award, Patriot would win it every time! This 8 year old Draftcross has been a honor to own and offer to the public. Patriot stands 16HH and weights 1350 lbs. With picture perfect conformation and the brains to go with, Patriot is ready to become apart of the family and do whatever his owner pleases to do with him. He is a dream horse from the trails to the arena. One day he can go trail riding with your grandmother and the next day he can go to the local all-around show and bring home ribbons in all of the classes with a little one. Patriot is versatile in every way in both english and western disciples. Patriot enjoys going out for trail rides no matter where it is. He will ride out by himself or will ride in a group. He has been used as a lead line trail horse for a 4-year-old and has been taken out by himself carrying an 80-year-old women. He is going to take care of his rider no matter the age or experience level. He goes through all types of water, over logs, tarps, and obstacles. He is 100% traffic safe and loved being the star of the town during videos. In the arena, Patriot is as smooth as butter and has beautiful transitions. He knows is leads and voice commands. He will transition up from W-T-C and down C-T-W strictly off voice command or he will transition off of leg pressure and seat commands. He will lope around on a loose rein or collect up on the bridle. He has a great back up and turn around. He is very responsive to his riders and would be amazing for a lesson program with small children and very low-level beginners. He toted around a 4-year-old who has never rode by herself for 2 hours with no problems or behavior issues. He will listen to his riders for as long as needed. He is absolutely safe for anyone and enjoys his job of making people smile. His heart is made to be the absolute perfect candidate for a disabled or therapy program. He is a more woah than go, type of guy. He excels well under English tack and has been shown. He will jump small cross rails and go into a low-level dressage class with ease. At the shows he is very quiet at the trailer, drinks away from home and loads and unloads like a dream. He was shown by an experienced intermediate rider. He loved the showing world and would be awesome 4H and youth show mount. In the western, Patriot has done everything from ranch work to judged trail. We have used him to move cattle on our operation and check fences. The little ones have played with him on the barrels. He would be a perfect playday horse for a kiddo wanting to go and have fun, but parents wanting them to be safe. He also rides bareback which is a plus for the kiddos. Patriot is an absolute gentleman in the stable. He can live outside 24/7 or stay in a stall. We would prefer a home with a few hours of turnout daily, at a minimum. He behaves well in all types of herd settings or being pastured by himself. He does not walk fences or crib. He is a perfect gentleman when it comes to saddling, grooming, and bathing. He will stand all day long for attention and the kiddos to brush him. When it comes to ground manners, he receives an A+, especially with the kids. If a kiddo falls while leading him, he will stop and wait for them to get up before taking another step. He is the first one to meet you at the gate and is easy to catch. AUTUMN: 2019, 15.2HH Draftcross, Red Roan Mare. $4500

Red Roan with chrome! Autumn is a 6-year-old half draft mare that has been born and raised on our ranch. She is out of a grade draft mare and by our all-time favorite ranch stud Peps Whiskey Sour. Autumn is an eye catcher, everywhere we go. Her gorgeous color and fantastic disposition make her hard to walk by without a second look. She stands 15.2 hands tall and approximately 1200 lbs. with a great mane and tail. She is a horse anyone can ride, from our 3-year-old son to mom and dad. Ranch work is what she has been used for almost daily. Doing things such as branding, sorting, doctoring, gathering, and tagging. She is great to shoe and has big strong feet. Although Autumn has been used primarily ranching most of her life, she has also excelled in the arena picking up rough stock and roping. As a 3-year-old she was taken to Las Vegas to the Junior National Finals Rodeo. This was her first time to town ever and handled it like a seasoned pick-up horse. She also went back to the Junior NFR as a pick up horse in 2023. Autumn has been competed on and won money in ranch rodeos, muley roping’s, and even sorting by the whole family from kids to mom and dad. She has taken care of all of our kids and some of the neighbor kids in the branding pen. She has gathered large desert pastures, wet irrigated pastures, and rough mountain terrain and handles everything with ease. Not afraid to cross any water, and has a nice walk to her. She is always standing at the gate ready to go. Autumn is the kind of horse that will do anything you point her to. Come try her out anytime.
